MMSD Elementary Students March for Martin Luther King Jr.
Through the hallways of Midvale Elementary, scholars honored Martin Luther King Jr. as they held signs and sang "We Shall Overcome." In teaching students about the civil rights icon, students got a lesson in tolerance, inclusion, and acceptance.

The Academy is designed to expand access to college courses in science, technology, engineering and math and to increase opportunities for students to earn college credit in high school at no cost to them or their families.

District Staff had the honor of surprising three members of the MMSD family with news of being recipients of the inaugural Superintendents' Impact Award.

The newly created after-school activity at La Follette High School offers a positive space for scholars to channel artistic energy.
