As we get closer to colder temperatures, snow, and ice, we want to ensure student learning remains uninterrupted, even during a school closure due to inclement weather. We are preparing for this new way of working over winter break, in the event weather impacts us in early January.

The ACT for juniors takes place March 12 - students can access practice exams, exam taking strategies, and other resources through a free resource offered by MMSD.

A new state law requires high school students take a financial literacy class to graduate, something MMSD has had in place since 2017.

West junior Alleanah Hancock-Jammeh recently starred as Dorothy in the Children’s Theater of Madison’s production of “The Wiz.” She inspired school principals with a heartfelt performance of “Home.”

More than 120 middle school students from around MMSD attended an in-person workshop with the Children's Theater of Madison to get started on this year's playwriting competition.
