MMSD middle and high school students competed during the annual educational event. Organized by 100 Black Men of Madison, Inc., the competition is designed to enhance the appreciation and study of African American history and culture.
More than 100 students from 16 MMSD middle and high schools participated in the 17th Annual Mikva Challenge Project Soapbox Youth Speech Showcase. Students demonstrated research and public speaking skills to deliver speeches on cultural, social, political, and economic issues.
