In alignment with the Board's commitment to later middle school start times, and to maintain transportation stability across the district, some schools will see changes to their schedules in 2024-25.

The naming process for Southside Elementary has restarted. The school has temporarily been called “Southside” as a placeholder until a permanent name is chosen.

Students entering grades 6-12 and are interested in learning virtually for the 2024-2025 school year can apply for MMSD’s Madison Promise Online Program April 22 through May 10. A family information session is scheduled for Tuesday, April 23 from 6-7 p.m.

Families are invited to attend this free event and learn more about Asian culture. An Asian cuisine dinner is provided (limited), starting at 5:30 p.m. in the school cafeteria area, no RSVP needed. Enjoy Asian inspired arts and crafts like creating Chinese lanterns, masks, photobooth and more!
