Future educator Tatiana Menefee, a La Follette senior, received a $5,000 scholarship to use toward her education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Menefee received the “Mrs. Bell Future Educator Award” from incoming Superintendent Dr. Joe Gothard.

West High School “Amigos” foster meaningful interactions with Spanish dual language learners at Midvale Elementary. These young learners improve their Spanish proficiency by working with new, older friends.

The District and City are again partnering to provide MMSD students currently in grades 6–12 with free bus passes! Passes are good for use throughout the summer!
