Though Act 20 doesn’t go into effect until January, MMSD has already implemented tools that align with its requirements to support and identify readers who struggle with dyslexia and other learning challenges.

Thanks to funding support from the Department of Public Instruction, students at 14 MMSD elementary schools can enjoy no-cost fruit and veggie snacks at least twice a week.
