The end is near for construction work at the new Capital High School. Inside the building, workers are wrapping up the elevator installation, and electrical outlets and cameras are going in. Final inspections will happen this month and furniture will soon begin moving into the spaces. The main parking lot is being graded and will be paved and striped soon. The parking lot will also be equipped with two electric vehicle charging stations. Landscaping around the building will begin soon and exterior fencing will be installed for the chiller unit and daycare. The roof replacement is still underway with progress ramping up week by week.
