Site Work is in full swing at Capital HS!

Summer is here and Capital High School is making great progress both inside and out! Flooring is being laid in all the classrooms and the hallway floors are complete. Bathroom accessories are being installed and the last ceramic tile finishes are going in. Data cabling is being pulled throughout the building and lights are being powered up. The culinary space equipment is starting to be installed and the new gym equipment is going up!

Outside, site work is progressing well. The new storm lines in front of the school are underway which will greatly improve drainage. New sidewalks and curbs will be poured following the storm line install.

DID YOU KNOW? The culinary space will feature a teaching station with the more industrial equipment and four student stations. There will also be two monitors above the teaching station with a camera that will show students what the teacher is doing live.

Toilet partitions, bathroom fixtures, and accessories are installed in most of the baths.

 

Digging for the new storm drainage

Digging for the new storm drainage system is ongoing outside the main entrance.

 

Cabinetry and other finishes

Cabinetry and other finishes are beginning to be installed in classrooms and office spaces.
