Journey to the finish!

Journey to the finish!

It’s hard to believe that after many months of planning and design work, and over two and a half years of construction, the 2020 referendum projects will soon be fully complete for the start of the 2024- 2025 school year! From classrooms to athletic locker rooms, and elevators to a new turf field, over 320,000 square feet of space has been renovated or added at East High School.

Updates on current work

  • Cleaning and moving furniture into the ground-floor classrooms
  • Doing final paint touch-ups throughout the building
  • Finishing installing the new dust collector for the woodshop
  • Testing the new heating and air conditioning units
  • Paving the 5th Street parking lot

Did You Know? More than 40 groups of tradespeople worked on the renovations at East High School. From carpenters to ceiling installers, drywallers to plumbers, and more – many team members were involved in the planning, coordination, and execution of the work to make this project a reality.
