Current construction progress

Construction crews are installing finishes in the final phase of work at La Follette High School, which includes flooring, casework, and ceramic tile.

This summer, the concrete floor in the cafeteria and commons will be polished and the wall base will be installed. On the exterior, crews will complete the final paving, striping, and landscaping near the athletics entrance.

Finally, the new main entrance lettering will be installed to welcome students and staff back to La Follette High School in the fall.

Upcoming construction activity

  • Installing plumbing fixtures, ceiling tile, flooring, doors, and hardware in the final phase of renovations
  • Sealing the polished concrete floor in the cafeteria and commons areas
  • Finishing curbs, paving, and striping near the athletics entrance
  • Doing landscaping work around the bioretention basin near the athletics entrance
