Summer Is Coming to a Close

Summer Is Coming to a Close

Construction crews are making quick progress on the cafeteria and common spaces, the new main entrance and the staff office addition before school is back in session. Field teams are working hard to give staff and students a fresh space that they can enjoy for years to come!

Several areas of the building are ready for staff to move in, and final inspections will be complete soon so they can occupy the completed spaces. As the fall semester begins, construction work will continue throughout other areas of the building.

Updates on current and upcoming work

  • Wrapping up painting and casework in the student services area
  • Completing the new fieldhouse gym flooring with stain and final finishing coats
  • Laying masonry block walls in the new pool locker rooms
  • Installing the steel structure for the raised roof above the stage in the performing arts center

DID YOU KNOW? Once complete, the newly renovated cafeteria and commons areas will be a communal space that will feature an open-concept layout, a fresh look and feel, and a new café where students and staff can get snacks and drinks.
