Making progress on site

Demolition has started outside the building on the basketball courts. Six excavators are onsite removing debris and digging for the new athletic addition.

Crews are cutting holes in the exterior brick walls of the current gym space for windows, which will provide more natural light for the future classroom spaces.

The site is being prepped for utilities, which will be installed throughout the current parking lot area.

As one of the most used construction equipment, excavators offer stability and safety features that help ensure a safer job site. At West High School, the excavators are currently being used for demolition, digging, and debris removal.
