FastBridge Technical Problem Solving for Families
Updated: December 28, 2020 Below are some answers to common issues that have come up with FastBridge assessments. If you have other questions, please email Tim Peterson, Director of Assessment at (firstname.lastname@example.org) or contact your child's teacher.
Issue: A student cannot login or it won't accept the correct username and password.
Solution: Beginning in January 2021, students will ONLY be able to login through ClassLink. There is no need to use (or remember) a username and password.
Overlapping text or text outside of screen:
Issue: Student cannot see all of the screen or text is overlapping.
Solution: Here are several steps that can be taken to correct this issue.
Try reloading the page.
Maximize your browser window, or try a different browser.
Adjust your screen resolution to 1200 x 800 or higher (for desktops and laptops)
Make sure your zoom is set to 100%. You may need to use cntrl + plus sign, or cntrl + minus sign, adjust the zoom.
Message saying no tests available:
Issue: Student logs in to take a screener and sees a message the "No Tests are Available"
Solution: There are a couple of things that can be done:
1. Student refreshes browser on screen that says 'no more tests'
3. Student closes and reopens browser completely to retry.
