FastBridge Technical Problem Solving for Families

Updated: July 11, 2023  Below are some answers to common issues that have come up with FastBridge assessments. If you have other questions, please email Tim Peterson, Director of Assessment at ( or contact your child's teacher.

Login issues:

Issue: A student cannot login or it won't accept the correct username and password.

Solution: Students can ONLY login through ClassLink. There is no need to use (or remember) a username and password.

Overlapping text or text outside of screen:

Issue: Student cannot see all of the screen or text is overlapping.

Solution: Here are several steps that can be taken to correct this issue.

  • Try reloading the page.

  • Maximize your browser window, or try a different browser.

  • Adjust your screen resolution to 1200 x 800 or higher (for desktops and laptops)

  • Make sure your zoom is set to 100%. You may need to use cntrl + plus sign, or cntrl + minus sign, adjust the zoom.

Message saying no tests available:

Issue: Student logs in to take a screener and sees a message the "No Tests are Available"

Solution: There are a couple of things that can be done:

  • 1. Student refreshes browser on screen that says 'no more tests'

  • 3. Student closes and reopens browser completely to retry.
