What can students and families expect with the WIDA Screener?
The purpose of the Screener is to provide a quick sense of what the student's English Language proficiency is in each part of language development.
This means that the Screener has 4 parts: Reading, Speaking, Listening and Writing. Each part takes up to 15 minutes to give, based on what language proficiency the student is at.
When completed and scored, this Screener provides an accurate overview of the student's ability to communicate in English.
