CTE Summer Discovery for Middle School Students

Join us this summer for a FREE immersive Career and Technical Education (CTE) Exploration and Skill Development Program and is designed exclusively for rising 6-8 grade MMSD students.

Our CTE Summer Programs are crafted and facilitated by licensed CTE educators, ensuring an enriching experience that combines hands-on learning activities with invaluable connections to industry partners. Students will delve into diverse career pathways and gain real-world insights that will shape their educational journey and future aspirations.

  • Business Entrepreneurship, East High School

  • Coding and Robotics, Vel Phillips Memorial High School
    • Dates: July 7-10 and July 14-17 (8:30 am - 4:30 pm)
  • Culinary, East High School
    • Dates: July 7-10, 2 half-day Sections: 8:30 am - 12 pm, 1pm - 4:30 pm and July 14-17, 2 half-day Sections: 8:30am - 4:30 pm.

Summer Program Information:

Lunch:

Students will have a 30-minute lunch break every day. Free lunch and snacks are provided each day.

Transportation:

Transportation to and from these schools is the responsibility of the parent or guardian.

Bus passes are available upon request.

Registration:

All camps are free to MMSD families. Space is limited, and registration is on a first-come basis until seats are filled. First-come basis until seats are filled.
