What does it mean to be globally competent? Globally competent students:

  • investigate the world beyond their immediate environment
  • recognize their own and others’ perspectives
  • communicate their ideas effectively and with diverse audiences
  • translate their ideas and findings into appropriate action to improve conditions

Students have access to both the Wisconsin Seal of Biliteracy (SBL)  and the Global Scholars Program (GSP) in recognition of their language and global competence. Interested students should contact the SBL/GSP coordinator at their high school.
