Introducing Dr. Rachellee Bly, Supervisor of Community Schools

Dear Community School Staff, Families and Partners,

Season Greetings and Happy New Year! I am excited to share that I've recently taken on the role of Supervisor of Community Schools with MMSD. In my new role, I will be actively engaged in assisting with various responsibilities, including grant writing, data collection, and collaborating with identified community schools and partners.

I am thrilled about the partnerships that will unfold as we continue building positive school communities where all students thrive. I bring 27 years of teaching and administration experience in public education. I believe that every child is an asset to a school’s community. It is the job of the school to provide multiple exploratory avenues to help students reach their fullest potential. These are my strong beliefs around educating the whole child, and I am excited to grow with you in this capacity.

It has been an incredibly rewarding experience making rounds to many of our schools, witnessing the dedication of educators and principals and the vibrant energy within our school communities. I am eager to contribute to enhancing the way we operate our school communities, address needs and work collaboratively to empower and prepare our students for the bright futures that await them. I look forward to being a valuable asset to the School Communities Team and fostering a positive thriving environment for all.

I am honored to join such an empowering and committed team. It is truly a privilege to be a part of a working community where parents, teachers and students care about each other and strive to ensure the health, physical, social and emotional wellbeing of everyone in its community.

Thank you for your ongoing commitment to the success and well-being of our students.
