Leopold Elementary Plants Seeds of Literacy
To inspire a love of reading among young learners, students at Leopold Elementary created a "story walk" installation on school grounds featuring the book Plants Can't Sit Still by Rebecca Hirsch. Led by 4th graders in teacher Julie Rice's class, the story unfolds at each station along the walk.
Students created the literacy project as part of EL Education's Better World Day, showcasing their commitment to fostering literacy and community engagement.
