Welcome to the Enrollment Office

The Enrollment Office registers and enrolls students, manages and updates students records in Infinite Campus, monitors residency and guardianship functions, coordinates internal transfer and open enrollment processes, runs lotteries for programs like DLI and specific schools, and supports the district's student Information System "Campus Student/Parent".

Online enrollment for the 2022-2023 school year begins online on August 3 at 8 am. The online enrollment application allows new and existing families to complete the online enrollment application virtually and 100% paperless.

Families completing the application for students continuing within MMSD can complete the enrollment process fully online. Families will be asked to schedule an appointment with their school only if they need to verify date of birth and/or parent-student relationship or changes to other key information. 

Families with an address change only will be asked to send the verification of their new address (either lease, recent utility bill, or mortgage) to the school’s email address listed in the confirmation email they will receive upon submitting the online enrollment application.  For more information on how to submit proof of address change, click here. Families who move after the last day of the school year cannot use the utility bill as proof of address since it does not have the date of move.

4K or 5K (New students to the district for the school year 2022-23)

Families with 4K and KG students new to the district must complete the 2022-23 online enrollment application and finish the enrollment process with your school by providing proof of address, proof of your child's date of birth, and immunization records, if we cannot use the Wisconsin Immunization Registry (WIR) to retrieve your child's immunization records, and verification of parent/guardian identity and relationship. Your home attendance area school will contact you to schedule a Zoom meeting during August enrollment days. The enrollment office will place your student by the end of the month following your completion of the enrollment application and email you a placement letter.
