Next stop on your journey?

I plan on attending college at Madison College for 2 years and then transferring to St. Petersburg College in Florida to study in liberal arts for a degree in business and management.

What are you proud of?

I am proud the journey that I took to reach a level of maturity. My GPA and academics have dramatically increased after coming from the virtual school year to now.

Is there a teacher who inspired or influenced you?

There are so many members who have played a huge part my journey through MMSD, from the principals to the security staff, and of course the hard-working teachers.

Advice to incoming freshmen?

My advice to the incoming 9th Graders would be put to God and your education first and to get to know who Jesus is. Encourage those to seek to have a personal relationship with him. Also please take your education seriously. Through my 4 years of being at La Follette I've been through a lot, but out of every trial and tribulation and academic struggle that I've gone through the one thing I can say is don't give up or turn your back on God because rest assured he won't give up nor turn his back on you and to not doubt your academic abilities.

What else should we know about you?

That I’m thankful for the education, knowledge and experiences that have been given to me going through the MMSD school system.
