Hip Hop Dance

Hip hop dance is a range of street dance styles primarily performed to hip hop music or that have evolved as part of hip hop culture. Influenced by a wide range of styles that were created in the 1970s and made popular by dance crews in the United States, students will be introduced to this art form and enjoy learning skills and history about this art form.

  • Location: Partner site (transportation provided from East/West Arts Hubs)
  • Days: Monday-Friday
  • Dates: June 20-July 1 (weeks 1 and 2)
  • Sessions: Integrated with other dance offerings for Full PM Session 1:00-3:45
  • Note: The class capacity is 25 students.
