Jazz Band for Middle School Learners

A jazz band (jazz ensemble or jazz combo) is a musical ensemble that plays jazz music. Jazz bands vary in the quantity of its members and the style of jazz and we are excited to build these skills with middle school learners. Students should have at least one year of instruction to ensure they are able to fully participate.

  • Location: East Arts Hub (O’Keeffe), West Arts Hub (Cherokee)
  • Days: Monday-Friday
  • Dates: June 20-July 29 (weeks 1-6)
  • Sessions: PM Session One 1:00-2:15, PM Session Two 2:30-3:45
  • Note: Students not enrolled in scheduled courses during the afternoon will be assigned to Open Art Studio while awaiting transportation home. The class capacity is 25 students.
