Rock/Rhythm & Blues (RnB) Band Camp

In addition to the African Drumming & Hip Hop beat making course, Alida LaCosse - Wright MS Music Educator, will be offering Rock/RnB Band Camp at Wright Middle School during the second half of the Summer Arts Academy. Scholars will learn to perform as a Rock/RnB band, learning to play Electric Piano, Electric/Acoustic Guitar, Drums, Electric Bass, Percussion or any other variety of instruments. Everyone will participate in a Rock/RnB Band and create a fully finished song. There will be potential opportunities to record/perform finished songs.

• Location: Wright Middle School
• Days: Monday-Friday
• Dates: July 11-29 (weeks 4-6)
• Sessions: PM Session One 1:00-2:15, PM Session Two 2:30-3:45
• Note: Students not enrolled in scheduled courses during the afternoon will be assigned to Open Art Studio while awaiting transportation home. The class capacity is 25 students.
