Stay in touch. During summer break, you can still reach your school with questions or concerns. The best way to do this is by using the Let's Talk feature on your school's website (look for the red "Contact Us" box in the bottom-right corner).

Summer Family Resources:
MSCR is excited to kick off "MSCR on the Move" at the Mobile Madison event on Monday, June 16, 5-7 p.m. at Brittingham Park.
Summer is approaching quickly, and with it come various Chromebook transitions depending on students’ grade levels.
In partnership with Madison Public Library and MSCR, MMSD is offering fun reading resources, events, and activities for all ages.
The District and City are again partnering to provide MMSD students currently in grades 6–12 with free bus passes! Passes are good for use throughout the summer!
Middle school students in MMSD have an exciting opportunity to dive into hands-on learning this summer with the Career and Technical Education (CTE) Summer Discovery Program.

Clay on the Move
Discover the world of clay through hands-on experiences! Clay on the Move, a free mobile pottery program, offers handbuilding and potters’ wheel opportunities for community members of all ages
Play on the Move
Play on the Move, a free, drop-in mobile play program, brings unique play equipment for organized games, physical activities and free play. Programs are designed to encourage imagination and interactive learning experiences.
Mobile Madison
Mobile Madison, a collaborative group of organizations, brings free, mobile activities to many Madison neighborhoods. Areas where access to resources are limited are 2 prioritized.
Art Cart
The Art Cart, a free, traveling art program, provides creative, outdoor art-making experiences to children ages 3+ and their families. Activities include group and individual projects. Materials are provided.

Summer Food, Summer Fun!
The Madison Metropolitan School District (MMSD) provides meals to children aged 18 years and younger during summer break through the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP). Meals are available Monday-Friday at a variety of school sites and community locations starting Monday, June 23rd.
When School’s Out, Summer EBT is Here to Help!
Summer EBT (Electronic Benefit Transfer) is an income-based program that helps families buy food for their children while school is out. Wisconsin will send $120 in benefits for each child who qualifies.
