Why I Joined the Early College STEM Academy

Calling all 10th graders with a passion for STEM! The Early College STEM Academy is designed to expand access to college courses in science, technology, engineering and math and to increase opportunities for students to earn college credit in high school.

The Academy is a partnership between MMSD and Madison College. Students take full-time college classes at Madison College in 11th and 12th grade to earn transfer level credit toward an associate degree while completing high school requirements. Participating students will explore STEM themes and interests and earn college credit at no cost to students or families. Learn more about the Early College STEM Academy in this Curriculum Overview.

The application is open to all current 10th graders and is due by January 27, 2023.
