About the activity

In this activity, students imagine that they can see Jack and Jill in the dark patches on the moon and learn that there is a connection between the Jack and Jill nursery rhyme and the order of the phases of the moon. Students observe the moon in the daytime sky, learn the nursery rhyme, have the "Jack and Jill on the Moon story book" (included) read to them, and check to see if the are seeing Jack or Jill on the moon.
