6.2 Notice of Layoff
The Board will give at least thirty (30) calendar days notice of any reduction in force. The notice of reduction in force will specify the effective date. Layoff decisions shall occur in April/May. During the April/May decision point, in the event the District anticipates that a reduction will be necessary for the next contract year, the teacher so affected will be notified through the non renewal process pursuant to § 118.22, Wis. Stats
