In order to streamline the license renewal process for Teachers, Principals and Assistant Principals MMSD has elected to participate in a pilot with the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction that will allow qualifying educators to use 1-year of their Educator Effectiveness Plan (EEP) for license renewal.

Through a successful pilot, we hope to eliminate the current requirement to do both a Professional Development Plan (PDP) and an Educator Effectiveness Plan (EEP) enabling educators the option of renewing through the Educator Effectiveness Plan only. Educators who qualify to participate in this pilot will voluntarily elect to so. Participation in the pilot will take the place of one year of the PDP process for the 2016-17 school year.

See details on who qualifies to participate and how to participate in this PDP/EEP Pilot Communication. Qualifying educators will need to elect to participate in the pilot on or before March 15, 2017.
