In order to celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday, all K to 5th grade read Dr. Seuss books. K to 2nd graders read "Put me in a Zoo" edited by Dr. Seuss. Whenever the librarian said the word "spot", the students put a spot sticker on themselves.By the end of the story, the students were spotted just like the character in "Put me in a Zoo." We then took pictures in front of a large book scene from "The Lorax." The 5th graders read Dr. Seuss stories and recorded themselves so Kindergarteners could listen to them at another time. They recorded themselves on Movenote reading the stories "Mr. Brown Can Moo," "What Pet Should I Get?," "Cat in the Hat," "Fox in

Sox," as well as others. Listen to Rooney C. reading "Mr. Brown Can Moo" (as a stuffed monkey).
