The National Education Association is providing funding to thousands of educators, enabling them to develop their professional practice to improve student learning. The two levels of funding opportunities are $2,000 and $5,000. Grants are available to current members of the National Education Association who are educators in public schools or public institutions of higher education. The deadline for this grant submission is October 15th. This opportunity is also particularly relevant to the Hammond book being read in many schools. (Culturally Responsive Teaching and the Brain).
