The Madison School District uses a messaging service called SchoolMessenger. This service allows the MMSD schools to contact and communicate with family members of MMSD students through voice, text and email messaging.
We encourage parents and guardians to take advantage of the text messaging service. This page outlines the interactive functions available through SchoolMessenger's SMS texting service. You can expect to receive approximately 4 messages a month, depending on your school.
You can participate in the Madison schools' SchoolMessenger service by texting YES or OPTIN to short code 68453 or by scanning the above QR code with your smart phone.
Examples of messages you might receive if you opt in:
"School's closed due to snow mmsd.org for more info"
"Don't forget enrollment is next week! mmsd.org/enroll for more info"
"Important parent meeting tomorrow night at (school)"
