On Friday, February 17, all 500+ Glendale students, along with staff and volunteers, completed projects for our 4th annual school-wide Day of Service. Our 4K students decorated bookmarks for Madison and Monona Public Libraries, while our kindergarten through 5th grade students completed projects for a wide variety of other local agencies. This year our projects helped Meals on Wheels, Badger Honor Flight, Dane County Humane Society, Henry Vilas Zoo, Monona Meadows retirement community, Aldo Leopold Nature Center, American Family Children's Hospital, Project Linus, Ronald McDonald House and our own Glendale Garden. In total, our students and adults contributed more than 800 hours of community service time in just one school day.
