The Future Exploration Fair brought 35 businesses, employers, non-profit agencies and educational institutions together with over 1,000 high school students at West High School on February 24, 2017. This provided the opportunity for exhibitors to hire students for employment needs, recruit student volunteers, educate students various companies, recruit potential employees and students, provide career and college information and help students plan for life after high school. Every freshmen and sophomore attended with their Social Studies classes. The fair was also open to upperclass students who came in during lunch.
Some of the questions the freshmen and sophomores were asked to answer as they explored the fair, which align directly with their Academic and Career Planning Portfolios, as well as the list of business that were present can be found here.
