Abraham Ohima, Shabazz City High School senior, was Madison's first high school competitor in The Moth Story Slam this week in front of an audience of 150 people. He held his own against 9 other competitors ranging in age from 25-93. He was required to tell a personal story, within a five minute time limit, without notes. His performance was funny, brave, organized, prepared, poised, and interesting. He said he intends to compete again in the monthly slam. Learn more about the event at https://themoth.org/events.
