Featuring the best in touring performances, renowned educational lecturers and more, OnStage field trip performance series at Overture connects content across the curriculum while offering a diverse range of art forms and cultural perspectives. To deepen the student experience, we provide Resource Guides for each show filled with curricular-focused lesson ideas. Additionally, arts education residencies are available for your classroom taught by local, trained artists, producers, musicians and performers. Featuring cars, hats, audience participation, a wild game of ball and important lessons about life between innings, this spectacle by Childsplay brings the adventures of P.D. Eastman’s book to life in a frolicking musical dog party! A live action musical romp full of surprises, color, clowning, vaudeville, singing/barking, and of course, six lovable dogs.

ARCH8'S TETRIS

Inspired by the game Tetris, this extremely physical dance quartet explores how we connect with one another, building a private language to communicate, and then invites others to enter into the dancers’ world. It is for the kids who can’t sit still, for the ones who like to climb the walls, and those who can imagine further than they can see.
