Tutoring NetworkDo you want to be a volunteer tutor, or know someone who might be interested? Join us for tutor training on January 25, 2018.

The Tutoring Network, a citywide coalition of volunteer-based tutoring program providers that serve MMSD students during and after school, is hosting a Volunteer Tutor Training Workshop for prospective and current volunteer tutors. The training will take place on January 25, 2018 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at La Follette High School, 702 Pflaum Rd.

Please consider volunteering one hour a week to tutor an MMSD student. As a volunteer tutor you can help an elementary student develop a love of reading, or help a middle school student refine their math or literacy skills and be prepared for high school, or help a 9th grade student develop the needed foundational skills in algebra. Every year our schools benefit from the hard work and dedication of more than a 1,000 volunteers but there are still many students who need your help.
