Sounds of the Ocean - The Immersive Experience

is an award-winning, immersive planetarium experience that combines underwater imagery, original music, and the songs of whales and dolphins.  Created by "ocean artivist" Joshua Sam Miller and co-director Elise Lein, it serves as both a mindful meditation and a call to ocean conservation.

What to Expect

  • Immersive Visuals: 360-degree high-definition underwater footage projected onto the planetarium dome.
  • Acoustics: A "sonic scuba dive" featuring real whale and dolphin recordings mixed with ambient instrumental music.
  • Mindfulness: Designed to reduce stress and help audiences find "inner calm" through guided meditation and art.
  • Conservation Impact: The project is an official UN Ocean Decade Activity. 10% of ticket sales are donated to local conservation organizations, such as the Clean Lakes Alliance!

Shows start NOW... One week a month, Thursday, April 9 at 5:45 and 7:00 PM, Saturday, April 11 at 1:10 and 2:20 PM.  May dates are the 7th and 9th!

CONCESSIONS now available... candy bars, fruit snacks and water... all proceeds directly benefit the Planetarium!

The ticket window opens 30 minutes before each show.  Plan to arrive at least 25 minutes prior to show time!

Seating is on a first-come first-served basis.
