About the activity

The Planetary Waistlines activity was designed to have students explore the relative sizes of the planets. The activity doesn't attempt to address the vast amount of space that exists between the planets. Planetary Waistlines provides three different versions that allow the use of proportions, fractions, metric system measurements, drafting compasses, and other features. This allows the activities difficulty to be adjusted to match your educational goals.
