REAP's Farm to School program brings fresh, local, sustainably produced food to children, establishes reliable markets for local farms using sustainable agriculture practices, and provides hands-on education in Madison classrooms.

New Resource for Educators: Farm to School To Go Kits

Are you interested in incorporating farm to school education into your classroom or program? REAP Food Group is excited to share a new farm to school resource with Madison-area educators!  With funding from a City of Madison SEED Grant, Learn more about Farm to School to Go Kits.


The New Year is upon us and REAP is ready to kick off another semester full of exciting farm to school programs and events!

They will have many new volunteer opportunities this spring, including:

  • Helping with nutrition education lessons and healthy snack distribution in elementary school classrooms.

  • Assisting middle school and high school students with food preparation during our Chef in the Classroom and CHOW programs.

  • Providing educational programming in cafeterias to encourage excitement and consumption of fruits and vegetables.

  • Assisting with family-oriented activities during Family Food Fest, a community farm to school event held in May.​
