External Research
The Madison Metropolitan School District is committed to supporting research that helps improve outcomes for students. Each year, MMSD receives many requests to conduct research studies, and must carefully consider what the district can accommodate without interfering with instructional time. To protect the best interests of students, staff and families of MMSD, anyone wishing to carry out a research project within MMSD- whether an individual or an organization- must submit a proposal for review and approval by the External Review Committee (ERC), part of the Research, Assessment and Improvement (RAI) Office.
Please review the processes on this page for more information. Also see the ERC Guidelines document, for more details.
