Enroll now in a Personalized Pathway
West High School is not enrolling students in Personalized Pathways for the 2022-23 school year. We'd be happy to assist students in the West attendance area explore the opportunities available at East, La Follette and Memorial high schools, and we can help you through the Pathways enrollment process, if desired.
Request to have a paper copy mailed to you.
Thank you for your interest in Pathways. The priority deadline for enrollment is January 14, 2022. All applications submitted after this date will be processed on the 1st and 15th of each month.
If more applicants apply than seats available, priority will be given in this order: applications of students in the attendance area of the selected high school, students holding a legacy transfer approval, current MMSD students outside the attendance area, any other application. Applications received by the priority deadline are put through the lottery process forming a wait list. Any applications received after the deadline will be added to the bottom of the wait list in the order received.
If a student wishes to enroll in Personalized Pathways in a high school outside of their attendance area, they do not need to also fill out an internal transfer application.

All Pathways enrollment applications need a student ID number issued by Madison Schools
To apply for the Pathways program, every applicant needs a Madison Schools student ID number. Proceed to the Pathways application if your student has a student ID number issued by Madison Schools.
Any student without a Madison School District issued student ID number, will need to complete the following abbreviated enrollment questionnaire before applying to the Pathways program. Please provide a valid email address in the questionnaire.
Complete this Questionnaire IF:
- your student is currently attending private/parochial school, OR
- your student is currently attending outside of Madison (open enrolled)
AND
- the student has never been enrolled with MMSD.
Call the Enrollment office if you have questions regarding student IDs, at (608) 663-4957 or enrollment@madison.k12.wi.us.
Once the questionnaire is completed, the Madison Enrollment office will process the student information and issue a student ID number. The Enrollment office will email parents/guardians within 24-48 hours. The email will include the link to the Pathways application, the student ID number, and the parent/guardian's Infinite Campus parent portal username and password.
