Online Learning - Students
MVC is not a full-time online schooling option. Please contact your school's principal for details on accessing full-time virtual learning in fall 2020 and beyond.
Requesting an MVC Online Course
Students and parents should reach out to their school counselor to begin the MVC course request process. This introductory document outlines our basic process for determining eligible students.
Please note the following before requesting an online course: Not all students applying for an online course will be approved. Some reasons for requesting an online course have a higher priority than other reasons. Additionally, some courses have a higher priority than others (such as one required for graduation compared to an optional elective).
See your school counselor to begin the request process, discuss how credit will be attained at your local school, and consider all options.
The Online Learning Experience
Every student who is approved to take an MVC course must complete an online Student Orientation course to familiarize themselves with our Learning Management System and the expectations for online learners. To find out more about learning online, please refer to this introductory document. More information will be covered in Orientation.
