Jane Wyngaard-Innes is an instrumental force in the highly successful reading data at Frank Allis. We have a solid system in place that includes strong core instruction and a flexible Multi-tiered System of Support AND it's Jane's skills and passion that have supported so many emergent readers, resulting in the most successful data in 5 years.
Edith Beltran, 8th Grade DLI teacher at Cherokee Heights Middle School obtained funding and implemented a Spanish/English class that includes dual language immersion for the Cherokee Heights community. There are roughly 24 parents, teachers, and community members learning a second language on Tuesday evenings for 8 weeks. Susana Alvarez, 7th Grade DLI teacher is CHMS, is one of the amazing teachers helping facilitate these sessions. The class is getting great reviews by its participants. Thank you, Edith an
