On Wednesday, May 4, Spring Harbor Middle School will host its 15th annual Environmental Conference. Students at all three grade levels will present independent research projects across a variety of areas, including water quality, pollution, food, nutrition, animal observations and more. The two-day conference also includes opportunities for students to take part in a number of field trips and events that include canoeing on Lake Mendota, hiking at Indian Lake State Park, working in the school's greenhouse and gardens, fishing, cooking and biking. Researches from the Henry Vilas Zoo will be among the keynote speakers for the event.
