Once each year, MMSD offers its employees the opportunity to make changes to their benefit elections.  Open Enrollment (sometimes also referred to as Annual Choice) is always between October 15 and November 15. Any changes made during that timeframe are effective as of the following January 1.

Now in its fifth year, the Excellence in AmeriCorps Awards were created to recognize the outstanding and innovative AmeriCorps programs, members, and alumni tackling our nation’s most-pressing challenges. 

Join us to explore cosmic connections to Halloween in this pre-recorded program which highlights a scary looking image of the Sun, monstrous black holes, zombie stars, scary-looking clouds of gas and dust, and more. We’ll also explore the current night sky.

The CPR classes for staff are now posted. These Heartsaver® classes are for all staff, except for the following groups that have their own individually scheduled classes: Nurses, nursing assistants, medically fragile SEA's, coaches and security guards.

Annie’s Grants for Gardens may be used on supplies for an edible garden (plants, seeds, raised beds, fencing, wheelbarrows, greenhouses, drip irrigation systems).

WRS has released their quarterly newsletter - WRS News Online. Additionally, ETF/WRS has live and online presentations scheduled this fall for anyone that is 1 to 10 years from retiring.

Teaching Tolerance Educator Grants of $500-$10,000 support educators who embrace and embed anti-bias principles throughout their schools and support projects that promote affirming school climates and educate youth to thrive in a diverse democracy.

The Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation: Direct Effect Quality of Life Grants of up to $25K are available to support a wide range of projects that will impact people living with paralysis and their families.
