Effective Monday, April 23rd, the main phone line at Doyle (663-1879) has been changed to an automated phone tree system that will answer after one ring.
The Wisconsin Retirement System annual Statement of Benefits (dated January 1, 2018) will soon be delivered to active employees with WRS contribution balances as of December 31, 2017. Employees with a district mail location will receive their statement at their site, all others will be US mailed.
Foundations of Leadership (FOL) is a dynamic course focused on the experiences of LGBTQ+ youth and youth of color. This opportunity is a partnership between MMSD and GSAFE (Creating Just Schools for LGBTQ+ Youth).
The pausing that summer offers lies ahead, and within that, opportunities for rest, rejuvenation and connection. MiMMSD currently has three summer courses open to all MMSD educators and staff.
Our district team has developed a plan that they believe will work and provide better outcomes for our middle school students in many areas. The proposed plan has some late start elementary schools moving to the early start time so that middle schools could start later. The plan would be phased in over a three-year period after a full year of planning.
On April 7, 2018, Hamilton Middle School celebrated their first Science Olympiad State Tournament win, bringing home medals in every event. West High School students also earned first place in Wisconsin!
$100 for Back-to-School supplies and $500 for Second Quarter Traditional Grants for whatever you need (books, math manipulatives, school speaker, microscopes, etc.). Apply by June 30.
MSCR is expecting over 250 kids this year and need volunteers to make this happen!
