CDC Recommends COVID-19 Vaccine Booster for 5 Years of Age and Older

Lincoln Elementary School will host a COVID-19 clinic in partnership with SSM Health on Thursday, June 23rd from 9:00-3:00 pm. All MMSD staff, students and family members over the age of 5 are invited.

The CDC recommends that everyone ages 5 years and older get vaccinated against COVID-19. Everyone ages 5 and older should also get a COVID-19 booster, when eligible. The clinic will provide 1st, 2nd, and booster dose to anyone 5 years of age and older AND provide a 2nd booster dose for anyone over the age of 50 or anyone 12 and older who is immunocompromised. To determine your eligibility, visit the CDC’s COVID-19 Booster tool.

People who have had COVID-19 should still get vaccinated for added protection.

The Federal government is providing the vaccine at no cost. You will not be billed for the vaccine or for the administration of the vaccine.

  3. Arrival Time. Please arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before your appointment time. This will help the clinic move faster and make parking easier.

  4. Parking. Parking is available in the Lincoln parking lot and side streets near Lincoln. Please note: NO parking directly in front of the school. Enter via the main entrance.

  5. What to Bring/Dress. There is no privacy to change clothes, so we recommend you wear a short-sleeved shirt, and bring a jacket or sweatshirt for warmth, as the temperature in the school can fluctuate. Your time in the clinic will be about 30 minutes, so you may want to bring something to keep busy.

  6. Face Coverings. Face coverings are required for anyone in our building ages 2 and older.
