Latino Earth Partnership (LEP) is an initiative to engage educators in ecological restoration and water stewardship rooted in Latino cultural knowledge and community. The LEP summer 2016 institute will be held at the UW Arboretum June 27th – July 1st, 2016 from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm. LEP offers interdisciplinary professional development for teachers, community members, informal educators, and resource specialists. Spanish and non-Spanish speakers of all backgrounds are welcome.

Teachers are eligible to earn 3 graduate credits from UW-Madison (tuition waived; $165 administrative fee applies) or MMSD Performance Advancement Credits. Teachers will also earn a Professional Development Plan certificate. To participate, teachers can sign up through UWUOnline by June 1. Additional steps will be required for UW credit.
