Superintendent's Wellness Advisory
The Superintendent's Wellness Advisory serves to provide an ongoing space for students, families, community partners, and staff to share their experiences and recommendations to address current needs at the school and district level. Voices from this unique Advisory are directly connected to the Superintendent, Department Leads, and the Board of Education to better align the overall district and school improvement efforts with the implementation of the School Wellness Policy.

Top Priority Recommendations for School Wellness
During the 2023-24 school year, the Advisory discussed and prioritized recommendations made from past Board of Education Ad Hoc Committees. The recommendations included themes of nutrition, student mental health, staff mental health, buildings and facilities, staffing, student behavior, and training all with connections to youth voice and restorative justice. Within each theme, members ranked recommendations and established immediate, short-term, and long-term priorities.
